Every entry carries a date. A changelog whose newest line is eight months old tells the truth too, which is why it is worth keeping current.
Owner editable. Entries live in content.js as plain text and the page rebuilds
itself from them. Adding a release is four lines and needs nobody's help.
Why this page exists
It is the page that answers "is this server dead?"
Anyone deciding whether to spend a week applying looks for signs of life. A dated list of real changes is the cheapest and most convincing one there is.

"Fixed vehicles losing their boot contents through a restart" reads as a real server. "Various bug fixes" does not.

It is plain text on a page rather than an image in a Discord channel, so it is the part of the site search engines can actually read.
