SABLE HEIGHTSCity roleplay

How it holds together

One economy across all three

A district is a place, not a server. The money, the property register and the criminal record all follow your character wherever they are.

01

Property is finite

There are a fixed number of homes and units. When someone leaves the city, theirs goes back on the register at the price the market sets.

02

Jobs are held by people

Mechanics, paramedics, dockworkers and lawyers are all played. If nobody is on shift, the service is not running, and that is the point.

03

Records follow you

An arrest in Portside is on your record in the Heights. There is one police database and it does not forget between sessions.

04

No teleporting

You drive. The roads are busy because of it and half the city's stories start with a traffic stop.

05

The event district

The Strip opens once a month for everyone, whitelisted or not. It is the easiest way to see whether the city suits you.

06

No wipes

Three years in, the oldest businesses in the city are still owned by the characters who opened them.
